ESA/JAXA BepiColombo spacecraft reached Mercury

Joint mission of the European Space Agency and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency brought first detailed pictures taken while passing by Mercury. It is planned that BepiColombo will get on orbit of the Mercury in 2025 where it splits into Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO) and Mercury Magnetosphere Orbiter (MMO). Both modules MPO and MMO after split, will be orbiting at the different orbit in order to study magnetic field, atmosphere and structure of the planet.
